During a recent visit to Naas I went for a walk around the lakes near the hospital, and although I lived in Naas for some time, this is an area I had never visited. The swans had their young nearby, still fluffy and probably only a few weeks old. There was also some activity amongst the male swans, defending their patch perhaps. Some swan fights were very interesting to watch. I ended up getting a Swan Photo or two.
The benefit of carrying your camera every where you go was certainly obvious on this occasion as I captured some shots which an iPhone would not have done justice to.
