New Zealand is a beautiful country and this year was my 3rd visit in 4 years. One of the features of New Zealand, especially the south island, is the number of reflective lakes which can be found. Reflective Lakes in New Zealand can be found at places like Nelson, Fox Glacier and on the way to Milford Sound.
The ones I personally remember most were at Fox Glacier and also on the way to Milford Sound as I have great photos of these reflective lakes.
This time we headed north from Christchurch to a place called Nelson and the Nelson Lakes National Park. My photo titled, “Reflective Lakes New Zealand”, pictured below, was taken early in the morning, with winter frosts (in July) still on the ground.

There was no way to get the lake perfectly smooth due to the number of wading birds on the lake.
