Last Saturday I noticed that the sky was lining up to create a nice sunset. I jumped in the car and decided to look for a new spot to take some blue hour photos. I hadn’t been to New Ross on a photo shoot and opted to go there. On arrival in New Ross it was about 5 minutes to Sunset and already the sky was ablaze with colour; Reds, oranges and blues.

Unfortunately due to not being able to get a car park space I actually missed the sunset. However I did get two shots of the Dunbrody Famine Ship, Post-Sunset. I probably should have given myself a bit more time but overall I’m happy with the resultant shots. I wasn’t looking for a shot of The Dunbrody ship, rather the shadowed outline of the beams and masts against the cobalt post-sunset sky. I also like the reflections which were caught in the water, that of the ship and its lights.
